Christmas Cards 2011.

I used up some ink in my fridge and compiled a few designs over the top of one another to produce this years cards.Resulting in something quite unique.Printed surface prior to cutting was 1.5 meters * 1.2 meters.

Bronzen Temple at Rose Street Artist's Market.

Back in the day, with friends David and Moriko.

Something so simple and beautiful.

Taken from my phone in St Kilda ,just as the sun was setting.
The amazing unreal colours is due to the fact that I placed my sunglasses in front of the camera lens.
Who said photoshop fixes everything?

Cycle into the sunset Bronzen Temple Prints

This client wanted to keep every Designer T shirt individual, while following a certain theme, namely "circles".
The design brief was given from a cycle club in Elwood, Melbourne.
Bronzen Temple drew up some sketches on paper in cluding both the front and back of the shirts and general layout to be printed in desired colours and relayed them to the client.
The print colours were mostly primary and the requested shirt colours were silver and white.

Bronzen Temple relies on close contact with the client,so to finish the specific print job with all the bases covered .Delivering a sweet finish ,providing customer satisfaction and a continued relationship for future ventures.

Crisp Pizza Restaurant Bronzen Temple Prints

Bronzen Temple produced the range of shirts for my local pizza restaurant to re brand the business after purchasing. The owners pictured, loved the result and got a second run of the shirts at a later date.
Printing included white print on teal {pictured}and white print on black.

Wanted to make this photograph quite psychedelic as the composition was amazing to start with and I sort of got in the way when taking the picture!

St Clare's School -screen printing class with Bronzen Temple Prints

Bronzen Temple offers screen printing classes to schools. The class is structured to be about three hours in duration.Above is Rhett Kilner at "St Clare's" school in Thomastown ,conducting a screen printing class to 22 {8-10 yr old} participants. July 2011.
The children  previously had been asked to each design something on a A4 piece of paper. From the 22 designs produced , Rhett selected three of which they would use to print T shirts they had previously tie-died with their teacher.
The over all experience for the children was alot of fun, very hands on and with instant satisfaction.Every student printed their own shirt and had something to take home on the day.Due to the nature of some laws the childrens faces cannot be shown.sorry guys!

Etching plates freshly etched in acid by Bronzen Temple

Entitled "Cells"
The copper plate has been hand drawn with a etching needle by the artist, then left in a ferric chloride acid bath for different increments of time to achieve the textures and tones present.

Entitled "Maple Leaves"
As with the previous image the same process was performed.
The reason for both the images having a dark and charred colour is because the substance used to resist the acid from biting the surface which will not be printed{hard ground}is left on the copper for the photos.
This hard ground is eventually wiped off leaving only the bitten troughs in the copper for which the ink sits inside prior to printing on our garments.
Bronzen Temple pioneers a new direction in printing on fabrics.
The copper plate can achieve a much finer and detailed image not possible with screen printing, especially the underlying plate tones and textures which is intrinsic of using etching plates to print from.
